Service To
Others - Lions
clubs are recognized for their service to the blind and
visually impaired. This service began when Helen Keller
challenged Lions to become "knights of the blind in the
crusade against darkness" during the 1925 Lions Clubs
International Convention Birmingham Lions
has assisted any area residents through the years with their
special sight and hearing needs.
Our membership comes from all walks of life and are
serious about their commitment to humanitarian service,
helping the needy and blind ---
